Soaring ceilings and abundant sunlight add to the incredible sense of airiness that flows throughout the wonderful open-concept main living areas that include a vaulted 2-story great room with a fireplace, large dining area, top-of-the-line chef’s island kitchen and breakfast banquette enveloped by windows. Ideal for larger families or groups of friends. Relax on the grounds in the private outdoor hot tub, or step out to endless recreational opportunities.

The Moonlight Lodging team strives to provide the highest quality service for guests staying in our rental program. With 24-hour onsite contact from our in-house property management team, maintenance, and housekeeping, we are prepared to ensure guests a vacation of a lifetime! Check-in to your vacation home with ease as the property manager personally conducts a brief home-orientation and assists with luggage, questions, etc. Ski stress-free directly in and out of your unit by utilizing our lift ticket and ski rental delivery system. Garbage pick-ups are also provided daily as-needed, and we additionally will stock groceries for arrivals upon request. Featuring Malin & Goetz toiletries, luxury linens and towels are flawlessly placed in each bedroom and bathroom. A coffee starter kit, salt/pepper, oil/vinegar, cleaning supplies (dish soap, dish detergent, paper towels, etc.) are additionally placed to make your stay as convenient and seamless as possible.

The house is very nice and it has great amenities! It is in great condition and they have thought of everything like their large boot warmer in the gear room. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment and there is a very nice sound system throughout the house. The hot tub was broken when we arrived but the property management company was able to fix it before we left which was great! It is truly ski in ski out however it's not obvious how to ski in or ski out. My biggest issue with this property was they did not tell us how to get to the ski slope and back. The property is not listed on google maps so it was very difficult to figure out where the house was until we showed up. On our first night it took us over 2 hours of looking at several maps and the knowledge of some people who have been to Big Sky previously to figure out how to get to the slopes. This could be very easily solved if the management company provided these instructions in their welcome packet and it was upsetting that it wasn't included. For anyone reading this who is trying to figure it out Stacy's Way run is in the backyard so what you do is ski down the road that you walk to from the gear room. That will take you to the Stagecoach lift. From the top of the Stagecoach lift you can get to the Madison base/ Six Shooter lift. You can get lift tickets at the Madison base and you don't need the tickets to take the Stagecoach lift. To get home we were taking Cinnabar -> Natawista -> Bootlegger -> Alpine Meadows -> Stacy's way.

Fantastic Stay

This home's condition, location and amenities were top notch. Quality linens, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and convenient ski in/out location. Thoughtfully designed and decorated as well, with a functional and beautiful modern ski chalet aesthetic ... warm, but not too rustic. Would highly recommend to families looking for a winter getaway in Big Sky.

The best family vacation ever!!! When can we go back??

We chose Moonlight Basin because of friends' recommendations. We chose to go through because it allowed us to use the amenities on property including the lake, amazing golf at The Reserve at Moonlight Basin, etc. Their concierge service was perfect, helping us with recommendations, reservations for excursions, golf, with our move-in and walk through to familiarize us with this fabulous house. Also, we wanted to do business with moonlight because we knew there would be no headaches or glitches in our contract. Our two daughters and their husbands joined us the first week of July. Each couple had their own "master area." with king bed and adjoining bathroom. Each space was beautiful, being on a separate floors allowed for privacy. The common living area (as was the entire house) was gorgeous, well appointed, and immaculate. Facing west, we enjoyed fabulous sunsets. Some basics were provided in the kitchen and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and grilling on the deck. We spent hours outside on the deck (and hot tub), enjoying fabulous Montana weather and sunsets. Stargazing was spectacular!The location could not be better! Diversion Lane is very close to the main entrance so no time was waisted getting to the house but was still very private. The house is a short walk to several trails and Ulerys Lake, which was a fun place to spend time - lawn games, small lake for stand up paddle boarding, cocktail hour, lunch, etc.There is so much to do in the Big Sky area! We did an all-day private tour of Yellowstone NP through Yellowstone Forever. We did a half day rafting trip through nearby Geyser Whitewater, fished the Madison, disk golfed, celebrated 4th of July in B'Sky, etc. Dining highlights included Buck T4, Sunday brunch at Lone Mountain Ranch's Horn and Cantle, the casual Lone Peak Brewery for burger/salad/beers. Wonderful hiking trails of all levels were minutes away.6 Diversion Lane made all this accessible. It's FABULOUS!

Simply amazing!! My adult kids are still talking about it! We have enjoyed many family vacations but this one is very special...the house, management staff, the ease of getting in and out of the Big Sky area!! Not to mention the hiking trails, mountain bike paths and the nearby lake!! The views of the mountains were mesmerizing! Do your family a favor and check out Moonlight Basin. You will not be disappointed!!
